We'd bought 7 previous boxes of these exact same Nature Valley Sweet and Salty Nut Bars, Dark Chocolate Peanut Almond and have totally enjoyed them all. However this most recent box is quite different. The bars are smaller, they don't have the same, thick, rich dark chocolate coating on the bottom and don't taste at all the same. We will be looking to buy something of better quality for our money. Presently, we do not recommend these. Unless, of course, you could get a box of the older ones!

These were okay, but I received them in June and they were expiring in just about a month. The taste was pretty much as expected, but they had clearly been melted and re-solidified before coming to me, and a few of the bars had that chalky coating of chocolate that is old. The box had also been fairly banged up during shipping, but that's as expected when they decided to ship it in an envelope mailer. Overall I was not particularly impressed.

Not sure what shipping person thought putting the box of bars into one of those mylar shipping bags was a good idea, but may want to rethink that. The box arrived crushed and half torn open. Bars were damaged but still edible. Love the product have been eating them for years, but would be hesitant to order them online again due to the damage.

We love these bars but Amazon must get the first and last 10% of the production runs. All the bars in these boxes are below the quality of identical bars purchased from Walmart or grocery stores. The chocolate is not dark and it sticks to the wrapper. This causes the chocolate to flake off all over the place. In addition the bars are not solid, lots of gaps, and just not good. If this was one or two bars in a box, maybe it would be ok. BUT all 15 bars in 3 boxes were inferior. Do not purchase from Amazon
