I got this product based on an online review for healthiest snacks for kids. Didn't know it was going to be little balls rather than one bar. While I love the clean ingredient list and the low sugar count, I dislike how hard the pieces are. My toddler can bite into them but it's not the easiest to eat. I had a similar issue with the product as well. Was hoping for a soft snack bar like fig newton texture. The plus is that it's a lot cheaper per unit other comparable "healthy" kid snacks on Amazon.

How adorable are these little granola minis? I did not pay attention to the pictures before I ordered this box and was expecting small granola bars, so I was pleasantly surprised to find they are actually bite-sized balls, which I think is actually easier to pop in your mouth AND as a bonus, are cute to boot. I have mixed feelings about the packaging because while I do think prepackaged individual bags are convenient, one bag only holds about 6-7 tiny balls, so I also think they are a bit wasteful and create excess trash. To be honest, one bag might be a good, light snack for children and perhaps some adults, but it just served to whet my appetite and leave me unsatisfied! I would have liked a larger portion. I did check to see if these granola balls were offered in a larger, resealable bag, both because it would be less wasteful AND because I would like the option of having more than 6 balls without having to open multiple bags, and they do have that option, so I would probably opt for that if I wanted to order more granola minis. The only drawback is that for some reason, the price of the bigger bags per ounce in significantly higher (when usually bulk is less expensive).
I enjoyed the chocolate chip flavor a lot because I like almost anything with chocolate, but did not like the mixed berry that much and could barely finish one bag. I do think this is a personal preference and many people would probably be okay with it - I will likely pass on my bags to someone who might enjoy them. For that reason, this particular combo was not a great option for me. I liked that there were two flavors for variety, but in the future, I would just get the chocolate chip - although again, for whatever reason, that option also costs more per oz.
I do not know if I would repurchase any of these granola minis - I do not like that the pricing of the various flavors/sizes is strangely inconsistent. I also think there are other granola options that are just as tasty and probably less expensive - if I ordered these, it would mainly be because I like the cleaner, ease of eating due to the appealing ball shape. But I do think these could be a good option for a lot of people - perhaps granola lovers, those who like to eat cute things, 100 calorie snack eaters and/or people who like the convenience of individually portioned and packaged treats.

It's hard to make snacks that are gluten free, school safe, nutritious, with good shelf life, and taste good. These manage it very well.
The Chocolate Chip Granola Minis (100 calories per 24g pack, 15g carbs, 6g sugars, 2g fiber, 1g protein) are like a somewhat crunchy, somewhat chewy granola bar in the form of balls the size of large marbles, with a decent amount of chocolate flavor.
The Mixed Berry Granola Minis (90 calories per 24g pack, 16g carbs, 6g sugars, 2g fiber, 1g protein) have a similar texture, with good berry taste, sweet.
Nutritionally, these are comparable to regular granola snacks, a little lighter on the calories and sugar than some, but also lighter on the protein compared to those that include nuts (no nuts here).
They add inulin, a fiber which is thought to be helpful in digestion and gut health, among other things.
Serving size is small, just a handful of balls per pack, but these are supposed to be snacks, not meals.
Veggies?
MadeGood says there's a full serving of vegetables are in each pack, which is of course impossible, since a serving is usually at least a half-cup. What actually appear in the ingredients are vegetable extracts, all grouped as one ingredient. The vegetables extracted are spinach, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, beets, and shitake mushrooms.
It's widely agreed that vegetable extracts are no substitute for whole vegetables nutritionally. How nutritious extracts are can vary greatly depending on what's extracted and how, but none contain all the nutrients unless they only take the water out, which would be called dehydrated vegetables or powder, not extract.
No matter how nutritious, the amount of extract in each pack is very small. Ingredients are listed by weight, and the veggie extract comes in last in the chocolate chip minis, behind vanilla flavor. Since they don't have an overpowering vanilla flavor, there's not room for much veggie extract. No reason to think there's any more in the berry ones. It's possible the full amount of some vitamin or other is in the pinch of extract included, but certainly not the full nutritional value.
Freshness
The freshness date for mine is August 2, 2021. They taste fresh.

These MadeGood chocolate banana granola bites are delicious. They have a really tasty blend of dark chocolate and ripe banana flavor. The "ripe" banana part is important, as these don't taste like artificial banana flavoring, but rather have that sweet ripe authentic banana flavor. Each pouch has 6 small granola bites that are about the diameter of my wedding band - and 100 calories. They taste really good, but my only issue is that the serving size is quite small. The 6 bites are smaller than even the smallest of granola bars, so when I send these with my kids' (9th & 5th grades) school lunches they aren't very filling. I wish they had 2 or 3 more bites per serving at least just to make them a little more substantial. They are a bit pricey too considering the small quantity. Very tasty though!

The good news is that these are allergy-friendly, very portable, and very good tasting (not too sweet, hint of chocolate, much banana).
The bad news is that the balls are about 3/4 inch in diameter, and each mylar pouch contains six balls.
If you define "hungry" as "blood sugar is low" I suggest you eat these slowly, with relish - they will satisfy. If you define "hungry" as "stomach is empty," and you are over the age of six, I suggest you relegate these pouches to the realm of "dessert," not "meal," or even really "snack."
Organic ingredients notwithstanding, small amounts of food in large amounts of (non-recyclable) packaging isn't really the greener alternative. Which is a shame, because I really like these.

These are tasty, lightly crunchy little banana granola balls. I really have to pay attention to taste any chocolate. There’s only 1-2 little chips per ball, and banana is pretty domineering. That said, still totally yummy.
The portion is wee, less than 1 ounce, which could be a good or bad thing, depending in your perspective. A bag contains 7 grape-sized balls. For me, It’s not really enough to take the edge off, but it’s a good snack portion for my kid. If you typically snack on 100-calorie packs (I do not), it may seem adequate to you.
My daughter really likes them. She has a relentless sweet tooth, so anything healthy that she views as a legit treat is a win in my book.

There are many other granola bar type products that are far healthier than these, with much more protein, one bag of these supplies 1 g of protein, 6 grams of sugar and 2 g of fiber for 100 calories.
Also, I didn’t find the flavor so captivating and the texture was just that of oats with a little sweetener.
I gave them three stars because some people just want a quick hundred calorie snack that has 20% of some vital vitamins.

These are sweeter than I was expecting, and sweeter than I like actually. Even though these have vegetable extracts such as spinach, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, beets and shiitake mushrooms you don't really taste any of that. You just really taste the oats and the chocolate chips which is the two top ingredients. And on the mix berry you get the oats and the the berry flavor.
But overall, just a little too sweet for me. You get a slight crunch/chew from the oats. You get about 7 balls per bag.

Not sure if these just sit in a hot warehouse all the time or what, but the ones we bought in the store were like a soft but chewy granola bar bites and these were NOT soft at all. The ones that were delivered are like a hard ball that you have to really use some force to chew, imagine those nature valley crunchy granola bars, but in a tiny ball shape. That is what these were like. Won’t be ordering them again.

We generally purchase these at retail stores and they are soft and chewy. That is not the case here, they seem overcooked and have a rock hard consistency.
