I have compared these protein bars for years.I’ve compared the ingredients to other “healthy” protein bars and these have more protein. They are not advertised as organic, which is a negative. The total carbs are lower than some of the “healthy” versions. The bad fats are present, but not too bad.
The dark chocolate is indulgent but a wonderful tasting treat.

I was hoping it was just a fluke but this has been happening for a few orders now. I order these online because my store is always out but these are my breakfast in the morning and I feel pretty disappointed that these are getting through a quality/weight check.
For how much these have gone up in price I’d expect the size to remain the same, considering the nutritional info hasn’t changed...

Oh my lord, I had to leave work early after eating one of these for an afternoon snack. It tasted pretty good, but I now have the worst gas! Since it was a protein bar, not a fiber bar, I didn’t think to read the ingredients and only just now checked it. The third ingredient is chicory root extract. If you don’t know how you react to chicory root (or inulin, as it’s also called), don’t eat it for the first time if you’re around other people. I absolutely cannot digest it and I end up farting for hours afterwards. It sucks. It’s friday night and I can’t leave the house because of eating this stupid protein bar.

I normally dont write reviews unless they're for too good or too bad items. This one is bad. I have ordered this 2nd time thinking the first time was just coincidence. But both times, it made my stomach go in knots almost to the point of farting and bowel moment.
I think some ingredients like chicory root extract and vegetable oils such as palm, peanut are the culprits.
Regardsless unless you can tolerate that urge to fart or go use restroom, dont buy these. Or if you have constipation, maybe this will act as a laxative. For my money, I will invest in better organic options that dont make my stomach do the disco.
