This is my first time trying this. I just spontaneously bought it without ever trying it before... I won't be buying it ever again.
It's so difficult to open (the wrapper doesn't smoothly rip), and I absolutely hate how the crumbs fall everywhere; it's only fine if you eat it outside.
The taste is OK, but it's not something I would crave for.
I also don't like the fact that there's two bars in each package; people who are complaining they only got 24 bars is because there's two each inside for a total of 48 (24 x 2)

Look, if I wanted granola cereal, I would have ordered granola cereal. These bars have definitely been through some things, the wrappers were all beat-up, the bars were broken in half inside the wrapper.
To be clear, they were not expired or anything, and they weren't quite spilling out of the wrapper, and the taste was just fine. But I'm eating half the bar by pouring it into my mouth from the package, because they aren't really a bar anymore.
Final point, they didn't come in any larger box, like the photo shows, just loose in a generic cardboard box.

The reason I am giving two stars is because I got the brand I ordered and not generic so that was good. The bad part is if you order these they could come broken. All the granola bars in my 42 bar package have been broken into pieces inside the individual packages. So if you want whole granola bars do not order these. But if you want broken pieces of granola bars these are your jam!

This is a good product BUT the write up says count 60 which is not correct as when you get the item it is in a plain brown box, not from nature valley, and the label says count is 30:pouches only. They count each bar and if they are going to do thus it should be very clear 30 pouches / 60 bars. So this is not good value for money. You can get a better price at Costco!
I thought is was a good buy if it was 60 pouches but alas it was not. I feel I was grossly misled.

I always buy these in the large 30 package/60 bars size. The last time i purchased the box as shown above, the bars were repacked into a different generic box, and i noticed the packages were a little crumpled. When i opened each one, they were very crumbly. Like they were somehow extra's / overs from something that didn't get packaged in the larger boxes, and now were being packed into some generic packaging and substituted for fresh packaged product. They were messy to eat, some were broken, all crumbly.
NEW ORDER came yesterday, I saw it was the large original green packaging, thought it was going to be what i had ordered, but when I pulled it out of the shipper box, it was again not the original box the bars came in. The box was opened on top, and again, it is obvious the bars have been repackaged. They are slightly mis-shapened and you can hear the crumbled bars rattling inside the wrappers. Nowhere, when purchased, does it say they do not come from Nature Valley, or they are seconds or whatever they are. This is FOOD, i don't want repurposed, leftovers from... WHERE are they coming from? I guess i will go to Costco and hope they are carrying the again. I will NOT buy them here again

These granola bars have been a staple snack in my family for 40 years. They've been updated over the years to reflect the science of nutrition, so the flavor quality has always been on the decline.
But this latest revision is horrendous. The bars are smaller, less dense, with an off-flavor (notes of racidity), and the oats are ground more finely. If they were trying to create something closer to a rice cake. No richness or lingering of the oils from the oat mixtures. I've worked in the Nabisco food science center before and know when a company screws up. These guys are excelling at that. Ugh...
Avoid this until they start putting some quality back in.

I needed these granola bars for the snack bags I was putting together for my son's football team.
I ordered a box of 60 bars. When I opened the box and started filling the snack bags I noticed that there were no more granola bars in the box!! Instead of receiving 60 like the box said, I only received 29!! I am very disappointed!! Now I'll have to make a run to the store so I can fill the rest of these snack bags before the football game.
I've already stuffed the snack bags too!!
What a hassle to have to dig them out of the 29 snack bags, send them back and wait for a replacement that definitely won't get to me in time.

I have gotten the crunchy honey n oats 48 bars 4 different times. 2 out of 4 times they come with the box broken and open with stains. All the bars are in crumbles so you can't eat them. There are 24 packages with 2 bars in each package which is misleading as well. Will not be purchasing again because you can't typically get a refund when they are all crushed and you waste your money on a product you wait for just to throw away. Very disappointing.
