It has been difficult to find good-tasting chewy non-chocolate, non-nuts granola. Finally found it! I sure hope they keep making these chewy granola bars without the nuts or chocolate. I imagine it's difficult because those aren't as popular, but I love 'em!

Here's the thing, and I'm just putting this out there in case a manufacturing company reads these, but I want organic food, not healthy food. I'm not looking to be healthy, I'm looking to not be poisoned by pesticides. Our government sucks at regulating pesticides, they let people use pesticides known to cause developmental delays, I have to feed a 4 year old, I would like her to not have brain damage. These granola bars are decent, in that they actually kind of have a taste and they didn't try to put a bunch of stupid vegetables or fruit in them. What I would really like is an organic snickers bar, but until then, these will work. I'll buy them again. Probably keep buying them until someone starts making me decent priced organic candy bars without trying to act like they are some kind of gourmet product. First guy to start selling an organic candy bar printed with Tahoma Font case is getting my business. But until that time, I'll just buy these, since they're good and not full of poison.

I must be honest and say that I was a bit confused by the new box, but I love the new look!
I've been eating these for years, and this is my favorite flavor of Cascadian Farm granola bars. My whole family absolutely loves them!
There have been quite a few issues with consistency, though, and these were no different. The box boasts "more chocolate chips," but there were even less chocolate chips on these bars than the bars in boxes that don't boast "more chocolate chips." This is the reason for the 4-star rating: I do expect to have an adequate amount of chocolate chips on chocolate chip granola bars.
I will continue to buy and eat them, though! The flavor and perfect chewiness is unmatched!

This product used to be consistent. I have bought it for over the past couple years or so for my daughters. In the past year, we have had a random bar pop up with NO CHIPS. One bar. Random. No harm, no foul. But now - I literally opened two - BACK TO BACK - with no chips in them. The only reason I don’t have both featured in the photo is I got hungry running around doing chores and decided to eat one before I got the chance to take the photo. ?? But even with that said, the amount of chips that we get in each bar has reduced significantly and in combination in incredibly inconsistent with each bar, so there are bars that my daughter won’t even touch because there are no chocolate chips. I mean, how do you call it a chocolate chip granola bar without the chocolate chips?!?!!! I’ve only stuck with this company because it’s an organic product, but they really need to get their production assembly line and quality control process under control because I’m about to jump ship and I’m sure I’m not the only one. I would love to recommend the product as the flavor is good and not too sweet like some of its artificial competitors, but consistency is a big deal with products, and they REALLY need to start paying attention before they go out of business. I’m only leaving this review in the hopes that they see it and it helps them take control of their production and help us customers get the same good product we were used to receiving and enjoying!!! Thank you!!!

This review is about the issue of returns to this company and the expiration date they sent me. I needed these granola bars for my preschoolers emergency disaster kit at her school. It expires this year and would not make it without expiring way before the end of the school year. So I wanted to return them and just go physically look for something that would not expire so soon. They do not allow returns. Not planning on buying food items online anymore if I’m not planning on consuming right away. My fault for hoping that they would not expire this year but would have been great to get them to return my money for something I can’t use for the purpose I bought them for…now off to go find a granola bar my toddler will consume and does not expire in a few months!

I use to love these.. still bought them after they started being made SMALLER for the same price.. but I can't abide the quality control going out the window!
Several boxes now I've received have 'chocolate' that is not processed properly. Its just compressed dry coco powder-brittle and bad tasting-it has not been formed into chocolate nibs/bars. If I bite into these bars the powder instantly turns to dust in my mouth causing couching fits. It RUINS THE FLAVOR and I've had to throw out several boxes because of this. If you see a bar with very light powder-y looking chocolate, don't eat it.
I've stop buying the product as I can't stand the bad taste/coughing when the 'chocolate' is not done properly.
