These are soft, tasty dessert & they have fiber. I am really glad to find them on Amazon - stores do not have them. I do wish they had less sugar. Whenever you see ingredients that end with ose - like glucose, dextrose, fructous - it means sugar. When you see ingredients that say syrup or sweetener, it means sugar. Nature Valley is better than many companies, but with younger and younger people developing diabetes, it would be great to see a company lead the way in making better products with less sugar.

I purchased these for when I get a sweet tooth I just did not anticipate how sugary they were going to be. I wish every item like this didn't come coded with sugar flavor. It’s a bit disappointing that such a small serving is 150 calories! They are also not as soft as I was expecting, but warming in the microwave 10 seconds helps. But when taking these with you on a trip, you won’t have a microwave out in the country so that is a bit of a problem if you prefer the very soft texture.

I've been buying these for years, but not only did they increase in price, but they also went from over 2 ounces to a small 1.24 ounces. Also, they aren't as soft because they are flatter and drier.
They are no longer a snack, but a flavor sample... I get it, there are supply issues and inflation, but both shrinking the bars and charging more is insulting. The quality and value has diminished too much.

I received these on 11/18/22. When I tried one, my first reaction was that it tasted like crap. It was dry and hard to swallow. It didn't taste fresh either so I checked the expiration date and they expired on 10/22. That might explain the poor quality. I wish sellers/Amazon would check expiration dates before sending products to their customers. I've encountered this problem with other items in the past and I know I'm not the only one. A lot of low reviews from others are because of this problem. It's poor customer service!

I normally buy these off of Amazon and have had no issues thus far. I’ve been told to be cautious of who sells the products because the majority are scams - selling used and/or expired goods. I use Fakespot to verify all of my purchases and this one had a decent grade but I won’t be buying food any longer through Amazon. The two boxes I bought were expired (one expired October 2021 and the other in November 2021) but I didn’t see that when I bit into one and it was GOD AWFUL. It tasted like chemicals and the middle was hard. I spit it out immediately and could even smell the chemicals off of the oatmeal square. I guess I didn’t notice before because I was hangry AF. The seller and distributor shouldn’t be giving out expired items if the purchase was made months after they already expired. Wtf.

THE Oatmeal square is excellent. The deal and pricing is NOT. Your paying $29 for only 1 box of cookes and not 6 like it is advertised. The surprising fact is it is coming from Amazon. I returned the box and they said they then guaranteed me that it would be six boxes. I ordered it a 2nd time and the same thing 1 box, meaning you are paying about $2.50 a cookie. So returned 2nd box and got refund.
