I just love dark chocolate, and when I found these on sale, I couldn’t resist buying them. It was a Subscribe and Save order from Amazon, but I wasn’t worried about them arriving in bad condition because the picture of the bag of Dove candy had a note on it on the page stating that it is shipped with cold packs. They were sent to me earlier than the date for the rest of the Subscribe and Save items for some reason, but they shipped quickly and when they arrived, the box was totally packed with insulation all around and there was still ice in the ice bag enclosed!! The outside of the box was cold!! They are in perfect condition!! They are nice and fresh!! They don’t expire until May of next year!! Almost a year from when I received them!! They are delicious!! I highly recommend these!!!

I hesitated to buy chocolate through the mail, especially since several Amazon reviews mentioned problems with melted candy. Mine arrived with the promised "cold pack" but it was not cold or cool at all. Oh well. The candy was fine, probably because the weather was not blazing hot. If I ordered this again, I would leave instructions to have it delivered in a shady spot.

I've ordered these Dove chocolates in the past and I especially like that they aren't full of sugar and have a rich chocolate flavor. They are perfect bite-size, true rich chocolate flavor treat!! I find that just 2 or 3 pieces of these chocolates perfectly satisfy that craving for a treat - without empty sugar calories.
When I ordered the product I didn't check the weather report. Much to my amazement Amazon delivered the chocolates in a box with two frozen gel packs to keep the chocolate from melting on the 90 degree F delivery day. That's an above and beyond delivery experience!!
