These chocolates are great - I've had them a handful of times over the years. The seashell shapes are just fun, and, I know the shape can't really affect the flavor, but I swear they taste better because of it lol. They look impressive if you put them out at a party, and they taste so good. If they were a little cheaper, they'd be something I'd buy all the time.

Also, be aware they contain nuts - just in case.

If you like Nutella or any hazelnut chocolate, you will LOVE these. They’re the best! And because they’re made in Europe (Belgium), they are held to a higher standard for good, clean ingredients. And I mean, who doesn’t want to get their chocolate straight from Belgium? Seems like a given.

I have always loved these hazelnut chocolates even as a child. I bought these as a Christmas gift but also had to purchase one for myself. They traveled very well during delivery. No chocolates were mashed or melted in the box. The box has very nice slotted holders for each chocolate. The chocolates were fresh and delicious. They look beautiful in the box making for a great gift. Would definitely buy again.

I used to have these as a kid outside of the US and I was so happy I found them on amazon! They are a great gift, taste delicious, but do take time to deliver since they're arriving from outside the US.
They are on the expensive side (I guess cause they ship internationally.) but for me it was worth it since it held a sentimental value and they were delicious.

I remember receiving a box of this candy back in the 80's from my manager when he traveled to Europe. I remember "savoring them" for as long as I could. I was not able to find this candy anywhere, until last year when I traveled to Spain. I was in a store in the airport and saw them. I IMMEDIATELY, purchased only one box. I ate them so fast and was angry with myself that I didn't get more. I started looking for them on Amazon and low and behold, there they were. I immediately jumped at the chance to get them, especially the 2 box deal. Apparently, they're only sold in England and Europe. I have gone through one box already. My intentions were to gift the other box but I was unable to control myself and had to open them. This candy is exquisite. Not too sweet or sugary at all. I will definitely be ordering more.

I know that chocolate can change color and consistency when it is frozen, but I don't experience that problem when I keep these in the freezer. (Freezing them means that I can grab one, pop it in my mouth, and let it melt slowly. I tend to eat fewer of them when I do this.)

That said, GuyLian hazelnut praline filled shells are spectacular. I have tried various knock-offs. They are never as good in terms of taste and consistency. (The fakes tend to be grainy instead of silky smooth.) These are nearly as good as the Godiva filled shells I used to buy occasionally. I don't even know if those are still available. I do know that they were magnitudes more expensive than the GuyLian product.

One more bit of advice: Hide them from the kids! These are meant to be savored--not gobbled!
